Once you submit, the short will be watched carefully and judged and placed in the cycle of nominated short films that will screen at some point throughout the year. Depending how well the short does with audiences, we will either continue to show the short or cycle through on to a new one that has not been screened yet. Every nominated short will at least screen once a month. We created 1-hour compilations, we put t hose on our YouTube channel, so it makes it easier for us to screen when we go location to location. Our channel is not monetized, but compilations are made public.  For those that can't attend and want to watch the selection of short films on the YouTube channel. If your short film was nominated and screened at some point in the year. It cannot come back for a second year without submission. To get your film in for another year one has to submit again, and that process repeats itself, no exceptions and there is no guarantee that it will screen again because it already made it once. Every short film is judged with all the other short films for the year it is submitted for. There is no rule about how long ago your short film was made or a rule against submitting again. We don't care if it was made 20 years ago, feel free to submit. But all short films will be competing for a 2-hour to 4 - hour window of screening time at our multiple screening events throughout the year and other special nights.

If your short film is not from one of the indicated states it will automatically be disqualified.

FOR 2026 we are expanding our Film Festival into an International festival.
